I was watching the Simpson's a few weeks ago and saw this cartoon frame. Thanks to the DVR, I was able to rewind for a second glance. Check out the sign.... "Golf "N" Die Retirement Villiage." How wrong is that and how funny. This picture is a good example of the small details that are all around us if we only take a moment to notice. Our lives are filled with so many activities and messages are shooting at us from all direction. I am sure that there are more touching and beautiful pictures that I am missing. But this picture is a reminder to keep your eyes and mind open. Take a few moments everyday to be aware of your surroundings. It's all apart of being alive and enjoying life it's self. It is also a good time to give thanks for all of God's gifts around us.
